Prof. Thomas Köbberling, born in 1951, studied business administration at the University of Göttingen, specializing in computer science. After completing his studies, he worked for various companies in a wide range of management positions.
During his six years as Managing Director of TechnologieStiftung Hessen GmbH, the knowledge transfer between universities and industry was reorganized and future technologies, including environmental technology, were further developed in Hesse. In 2009, Prof. Thomas Köbberling was appointed Professor of Economics – Business Administration at the Department of Oecotrophology in Fulda. He was appointed honorary professor in 2004.
His teaching and research focuses on practical business administration with innovation management, business informatics with information management in production and applied economics.

Thanks to his many years of expertise in the field of innovation management and other business disciplines, he not only accompanies innovative companies into a successful future, but also forms a valuable part of the GfaW advisory board.
