The Society for Applied Business Ethics wants to revolutionize the communication of sustainability. This won’t happen overnight, but we have developed the CSE for this purpose: A combination of quality seal and certification and a seal to fall in love with. It allows consumers to recognize that they are buying a sustainable product from an ethical company. A sustainability standard is complicated and there are already so many seals. But there is no sustainability seal, and certainly not one that sets such a high bar for companies. That’s why we entered our CSE for the Green Heroes Award again this year. The award recognizes eco-social companies that operate business models that have a positive impact on society and the environment. We ourselves are CSE-certified ( CSE certification actually means that the company has been unconditionally audited by a third party, i.e. a genuine certification). This makes an audit of our business model superfluous, as only companies that are consistently committed to sustainability are awarded the CSE label. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
