Kurgesellschaft Bevensen GmbH operates the renowned Bad Bevensen iodine-saline thermal spa, one of the largest thermal baths in northern Germany. Covering an area of over 1,200 m², the thermal spa offers around 300,000 visitors a year a unique combination of health promotion, wellness, prevention, and relaxation. The iodine-rich thermal water has a direct effect on the body, supports skin health, and changes the mineral composition of the skin in a healing way. The healing water has been extracted from two of the company’s own springs for over 50 years. The pools are divided into large outdoor pools, vitality, health, and relaxation pools with water temperatures between 32 and 35 °C.
The extensive sauna area has been lovingly designed and comprises ten different saunas, including a Roman balneum, sanarium, salt and herbal sauna, and a brine experience room with a view of the spa gardens. Visitors can also look forward to two iodine brine steam rooms and sanariums with changing scents.
The Spa & Vitality Center offers a wide range of massages and treatments, including aromatic oil, hot stone, and singing bowl massages, Rasul treatments, and thermo spa loungers with iodine brine. The iodine brine grotto in particular supports the respiratory tract, skin, and cardiovascular system and reduces stress.
The thermal baths themselves are a real highlight, but the Bevensen spa company’s range of products is complemented by the NCS-certified facial balm “Heidemarie & Salzpeter.”
This unique facial balm rebalances sensitive skin with natural plant oils, shea butter, and iodine brine from Bad Bevensen, forming a soothing, breathable protective layer on the skin’s surface. A blend of almond, grape seed, and avocado oils provides essential fatty acids and moisture. All ingredients and the manufacturing process comply with our NCS standard for natural cosmetics.
