Passed! – The Gesellschaft für angewandte Wirtschaftsethik (GfaW) has successfully passed the demanding criteria of its own sustainability standard CSE. Following certification by the independent inspection body Eco-Control, the standard setter now joins the ranks of the world’s most sustainable companies. “With our core competence in the area of sustainable management, we have of course been consistently practising the requirements of the CSE standard for a long time. Nevertheless, it is also a special challenge for us to be audited by a third party,” explains Managing Director Sophie von Lilienfeld-Toal. “With CSE, we have developed an excellent tool for measuring sustainability in all dimensions. We have now tested it ourselves in practice and are very satisfied”. The guidelines that GfaW developed itself were a great support during the preparations and have proven to be a useful tool for interested companies. Further digitalization in this area is imminent to further simplify the process. “We will continue to invest our expertise and energy in making certification as simple and practicable as possible in the future.” CSE is regarded worldwide as a label of the highest level and unites the pioneers of sustainable business under one seal. The standard is now available for all sectors, and GfaW is the third service provider among the certified companies.
