PRESS RELEASE New seal of quality for natural products to accompany therapy – NATURE THANX

The Society for Applied Business Ethics (GfaW) now has a clearly defined quality seal for care products that are as environmentally friendly as possible to accompany therapy: NATURE THANX is the name of its new standard, which guarantees that neurodermatitis ointments, callus creams etc. are produced as close to nature as possible. As usual for the GfaW, this is based on clear and transparent criteria. In addition to the obligatory renunciation of animal testing and genetic engineering, the tested products comply with certified natural cosmetics standards. Four nature-identical active ingredients alone, which cannot currently be produced from plant, animal, fungal or mineral raw materials, are tolerated up to a defined quantity and for a defined period of time: Urea, panthenol, biotin and allantoin. With its demanding criteria, NATURE THANX fulfills the need of environmentally oriented producers to clearly communicate their efforts to be as close to nature as possible despite the use of fewer nature-identical raw materials. The Bundesverband Naturkost Naturwaren (BNN) has also confirmed this justified concern by including the label in its product range guidelines. In order to move beyond the status quo in terms of environmental compatibility as quickly as possible, GfaW is also committed to promoting research and development in the field of natural ingredients – and makes this a condition of the standard. Complete transparency of the ingredients contributes to the credibility of the seal. The Society for Applied Business Ethics is the point of contact for the topics of ecological products and verified sustainability in companies. The standard setter has been contributing to the expansion and market penetration of ecological product diversity for more than 6 years with its own ecological product certifications.
