Relaunch of our website: Improvements in functionality and accessibility

The time has finally come: we are delighted to present our redesigned website! After months of intensive work, we have been able to comprehensively renew our digital presence and, in our opinion, significantly improve it. The revised website offers:

  • New functions for more user-friendliness
  • An updated design for improved clarity
  • Increased accessibility for an extended user group

We are convinced that these improvements will make your visit and use of our website easier and more enjoyable!

In the following sections, we present the most important new features and improvements in detail:

Improvement #1: Accessibility

We firmly believe that sustainability should be accessible to everyone. That’s why we have designed our new website to be accessible from the ground up:

  • With care and creativity, we have converted many of our previous infographics into easy-to-understand, text-based modules. This new structure means that the entire content of our website can now also be captured and read aloud by screen readers.
  • Standards and other documents can now be read directly on the website – no need to download a PDF.
  • The new design is characterized by a reduced and clear structure. We have reorganized and categorized the menu items to enable more logical user guidance.

Improvement #2: GfaW community and customer area

In addition to the already familiar CSE Star Login, we now offer two new areas:
GfaW Community – This area enables exchange between companies and with the GfaW.
Here you can:

  • Networking with other companies from the GfaW community
  • Participate in discussions
  • Receive information on GfaW events and other internal news

GfaW customer area – Here registered users can find:

  • Important documents for download
  • Additional information for GfaW customers

These new functions are intended to facilitate communication and the exchange of information. We invite all members to use these platforms and get actively involved. Feedback on these new areas is important to us so that we can continuously improve them.

Improvement #3: Simplified scheduling

A new feature of our website is the integrated calendar function for making appointments.
This allows you to:

  • Direct appointment booking via the website
  • Reduction of e-mail traffic for appointment coordination
  • Overview of available time slots

The function is intended to make the process of making appointments more efficient. Please note:

  • Personal support remains a central component of our service
  • The tool serves as a supplement to existing communication channels
  • Users still have the option of making appointments by e-mail or telephone

Improvement #4: New quick checks

We have expanded the range of Quick Checks. In addition to the Quick Check for the CSE standard, we now also have Quick Checks for NCP, NCS and NATURE THANX. The quick checks offer:

  • A quick overview of the requirements for all our certifications
  • An initial guide for those interested in the standards

Improvement #5: Optimized presentation of certified companies and products

As part of the relaunch, we have revised the presentation of our customers:

  • Individual company pages: Each company that uses one or more of our certifications now has its own page on our website. The system automatically displays the corresponding seals on each company page, which represent the respective certifications of the company or its products. For companies with which texts have already been agreed, a detailed company portrait appears on the respective page. We plan to gradually create a detailed portrait for each certified company or brand with certified products and integrate it on the respective company page.
  • Certification overview: These pages list the specific standards to which the respective company is certified.
  • Updating the logo display
